A lot of people say that books can be extremely boring and make you want to fall asleep. I can't understand such people because to me, books are the way I can travel to new worlds, explore the past and future, play detective, have a different career everyday, anything that I can imagine is possible! I can still read my Enid Blyton's, my Elinor M. Brent-Dyers, everything. Some people might call it childish; for me, its a way to de-stress!
I like the classics too - Shakespeare is brilliant and I really love Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice! I think I've read that book more times than i can count. Mysteries like the Perry Mason novels by Erle Stanley Gardner are also fascinating since they're an intense look at criminal law and a new and unconventional protagonist, where we find out how his ethics work and how far he'll go for a client!
Sea adventures by Clive Cussler are another attraction with the ruggedly handsome Dirk Pitt getting involved in life threatening situations in every chapter and a wealth of knowledge about the ocean can be obtained in his books like Raise the Titanic, Cyclops, Atlantis Found, Flood Tide and others!
I can go on and on about all my favourite books so I think I'll review some books each time i post and hopefully I'll inspire people to read books and share my passion for fiction!
