You said it!

The title says it all... If anyone didnt get what i meant yet, i was referring to R.K. Laxman, arguably India's greatest cartoonist, who created 'The Common Man' that we see in the Times of India newspaper everyday....

A pioneer of satirical cartoons in India, his comics transcend decades and are still relevent in today's world... his comics bring out the protests that we suppress, the despair we common people sense, and all the other issues that suppress us every day.

His common man was created by him after many cartoons trying to depict the masses. After many trials, he finally hit upon this one man who we can relate to every single day.. He is witness to shady policics, corruption, household hassles,  and other such problems...

Penguin Books has published various collections of some of his best cartoons! I strongly recommend reading them. They give a real insight into the satirical humour that characterizes every single  cartoon which makes them evergreen!
